Welcome to Marly.

We’re a gardening company doing things a little differently.

My family and I had searched for a way to reconnect with nature from the comfort of our own home. 

We imagined a beautiful, self-built garden - a place where we could grow our own fresh produce for cooking, a private oasis in which to relax and de-stress, and an opportunity to learn more about the natural world around us. 

In Search of the Perfect Planter

Unfortunately, we were left unsatisfied with the options on offer online, and at local nurseries and super-outlets like Lowe’s and Home Depot.

Planters were cheap, poorly constructed, and definitely not beautiful. Even our plants looked sad to be paired with them. This was not the idyllic journey to self-sufficiency that we had envisioned. 

Our frustration led to days and months of brainstorming a better solution.

The Result?

In the development phase we worked with horticulturalists and communities all over the country in an effort to understand the problems that modern growers face everyday.

Over and over we heard of common issues around time, space, and lack of knowledge. And we get it, growing plants is hard work. 

After years of planning, prototyping, and perfecting, Marly was born. 

A simple solution to a difficult problem. 

We’ve created a beautiful planter that empowers owners to construct their dream garden.

As an independent brand fighting alongside the big boys, we’re extremely proud of what we have achieved, but we don’t want to stop there.
